Digital Content Creator /Business Owner Charlotte Betts of Milk and Honee and PR Pro Antoinette Arnold of Authentic Noise want you to know that the fashion and beauty industry is making great strides in The Windy City.

Join Antoinette and Charlotte at River North's posh Zed451 for an inspiring and intimate hands-on brunch (complete with mimosas) where you will be equipped with the tools needed to start and promote your fashion line, as well as local and national media coverage for your brand.


Television feature Emmy Nominated Producer Melissa Perez knows how to take a segment from cold to hot, no matter which way the wind blows, and even before 6 am, her attitude is always, "¡Si se puede!"

Melissa is currently a segment producer for "The Jam” on WCIU. She first started as an associate producer for ”You and Me”, then quickly promoted to line producer before taking over as segment producer, producing live and taped segments featuring everything from local restaurants and festivals to celebrity interviews. Melissa also produced two half-hour specials with Chicago Grammy & Oscar-winning artist, Che ‘Rhymefest’ Smith, titled “Creating History with Rhymefest”: A Black History Month Special and Black History Month: The Movement. on WCIU. Melissa has also worked in front of the camera, co-hosting Chicago White Sox online program, ”Soxperience”.

Style Maven, BeBe Jones has 15 years of experience in styling, writing and teaching all things fashion. BeBe’s written work has been featured in Ebony Magazine, Sister to Sister and Savoymag.com just to name a few.

Additionally, Her company RowAseat1 has partnered with nationally renowned brands such as Nike, Akira, Nordstroms.com, Dicksportinggoods.com. She has styled some of your favorite celebrities including Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, NBC’s Chicago Fire actress Miranda Rae Mayo, R&B singer-songwriter, Ravyn Lenae.

Essence Beauty Writer Samantha Callender is a multimedia journalist whose work ranges from entertainment journalism to pieces highlighting social issues in multicultural communities.

Samantha intersects between entertainment and social matters, believing that pop culture has the power to not only entertain the masses but to educate them as well. Her goal when storytelling is to write pieces that serve as a catalyst to prompt dialogue and activism. Her work can be seen on VIBE, The Source, Essence, The Root, and Cosmopolitan Magazine.
