WHO: Experienced (Level 1 Certification or at least 2 years of coaching experience)
OVERVIEW: Our Level 2 instructional coaching certification provides advanced training in the areas of relating to others, coaching conversations and the coaching cycle. The workshop will focus on differentiating the coaching process based on individual learning styles and personality types. Participants will have the opportunity to practice and reflect on their communication skills through activities designed to further develop questioning and listening strategies that can be used in coaching conversations. The key components of a coaching cycle will be reviewed and participants will consider and reflect on how to best implement a coaching cycle in their own setting. Break out sessions will focus on topics related to building and marketing a coaching program, coaching the reluctant and how instructional coaches can lead and support professional learning. Upon submission of a final reflection and action plan, participants will receive a certificate of completion for the Level 2 certification course.
