Join us for the finale of Chicago’s One Book | One Community 2017 celebration of Jewish Book Month and this year’s book, Windy City Blues.

Hear Sweet G and the Lovers Entertainment Band perform music recorded at Chess Records by all the blues greats!

Then enjoy an on-stage interview of Windy City Blues’ bestselling author Renée Rosen by Chicago Tribune Arts Critic Howard Reich.

Windy City Blueswill be for sale and Renée Rosen will sign books following the program.

About the Author

Renée Rosen is the bestselling author of Windy City BluesWhite Collar GirlWhat the Lady Wants, and Dollface, as well as the young adult novel, Every Crooked Pot. She lives in Chicago and is at work on a novel about Helen Gurley Brown. Photo by Charles Osgood.

About Howard Reich

Howard Reich is the Emmy Award-winning arts critic of the Chicago Tribune, where he has covered music and related subjects since 1978. He has written five books: Portraits in JazzLet Freedom SwingJelly’s Blues (with William Gaines), Van Cliburn, and Prisoner of Her Past. The latter inspired the PBS documentary film of the same name, which Reich wrote, narrated and co-produced.
