Chicago Android lunch at Orbitz

Chicago Android member has been invited to attend a noon meeting at Orbitz where Hal Snyder will be talking about company's mobile development!

Attendees should check in with the front desk on the 3rd floor of the Citibank building (500 W Madison) 10-15 minutes prior to the event. They will receive a pass and should proceed to the 8th floor where they will be greeted and escorted to the meeting room.
Only those who have registered will be granted access to the building by the 3rd floor security team.
Hal Snyder has more than thirty years' experience in software engineering, including work in embedded systems, operating systems internals, and fault-tolerant networks. Hal's interests include configuration management, concurrency-oriented programming, and software toolchain development.
Before joining Orbitz, Hal worked with Northwestern University's Department of Preventive Medicine developing applications for the web, smartphones, and wearable sensors in support of a clinical trial relating to mitigation of cardiometablic risk factors.
Hals holds a M.D. from Northwestern and M.S. (ABD) from University of Chicago in Math (Algebraic Number Theory). He is the co-author of Internet RFC-3178 http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3178
