Annual Men's and Women's Doubles Tournament

We are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Men's and Women's Doubles Tennis tournament in association with Pennypacker Country Club and Tennis Addiction, to support the following 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations serving the needs of our community:

• Volunteer English Program
• Chester County Food Bank

Tournament Schedule

• Opening Ceremony: Friday, Aug 12, 2022 at 5:30 pm
• Round Robin matches: Aug 12-14 (Each team will play two matches)
• Quarters, Semi-Finals & Championship matches: Aug 19-21
• Closing Ceremony: Sunday, Aug 21 at 5:30 pm

Match Times : 8:00am-11:30am & 4:30pm-9pm

Venue

• Primary: Pennypacker Country Club
• Secondary: Downingtown East High School (for Round Robin matches)

Registration

• Open to players 18+ years with a combined rating of 6.0-7.5 (Refer USTA individual rating guide )
• Registration opens on May-2nd. Registration fee is $ 75 per team + processing fees ($10 Early bird discount - valid through May-31. Use Promo code CCT)
• If Registration has closed, please add yourself to the waiting list. Event organizers will contact you in case slots open up

Match Format

• 2 Matches Guaranteed per team
• Match time will be limited to 1.5 hours (90 minutes) + warm-up time (~7 minutes)
• Format will be best of 3 tie-break sets
• Third set will be a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a regular set

Donations

• If you would like to make a donation to the Volunteer English Program, you can do so by clicking on Register and select Donation option. Donations to the Volunteer English Program can also be made using this link
• We will collect food donations for the Chester County Food Bank during the event.

Additional information

• Each player will need to sign Personal Liability before the first match
• Tournament organizer reserves the right to change or cancel matches due to Covid-19, and/or limit the size of the draws/events to accommodate available courts
