Exploring Watersheds ~ EVENT SERIES: Passaic Watershed

Join RRWA President Dr. Kirk Barrett on a walk through Branch Brook Park in Newark during Cherry Blossom Season! Kirk will lead the group around Branch Brook Park Lake, then catch the streetcar up to the northern area and walk along the Second River. Kirk will focus on the history of the park and its waterways, including the buried First River and the Morris Canal. It will be an easy 3 to 5 miles of walking, mostly over smooth, level ground.
