Event description

Description

Community solar is a free and simple way to support local, clean energy while saving money on your electricity bill. Seems like it's too good to be true?

That's why the Environmental Management Council (EMC) of Chemung County is hosting Solstice for a short informational session at the First Presbyterian Church in Elmira on Thursday, 7 December 2017 at 7:00pm.

For every four people who attend and sign up, Solstice will sponsor a child in attending a conservation and outdoor recreation summer camp put on by the Department of Environmental Conservation - A joint effort to support the next generation and the future of our planet!

Solstice's Taro Gold (Head of Outreach) and Sean Hutton (Field Operations Managers) will give a presentation on community solar. Pizza will be served.

What We'll Cover:

1. Why so many people are locked out of rooftop solar: price + circumstance
2. How community solar solves these issues and makes solar easy
3. Is community solar right for your household?
4. Questions?

Limited spaces are available at this event. RSVP today to guarantee admission!
