About this Event

Don’t miss our next virtual Chef’s Table event as part of our Eat, Drink & Be Generous series!

For this Chef’s Table event we’re joining forces with Chef Edouardo Jordan from one of Seattle’s most-loved restaurants, Salare! Attendees will enjoy a three-course prepared meal for two inspired by authentic Moroccan fare while Chef Jordan cooks and shares a bit of the history of the cuisine and some insider tips and tricks. We will also dive deep into a discussion around food insecurity during the pandemic.

Menu: (each ticket comes with 2 meals)

  • Couscous Salad with Anchovies, Sweet Peppers, Cucumbers and Olives
  • Lamb Tajine with Beans, Baharat, Carrots, Preserved Lemons, Raisins and Chickpeas -or- Za’luk stew with San Marzano tomato, eggplant, sweet peppers, onions, chickpeas & flatbread (vegetarian/vegan)
  • Orange Blossom Panna Cotta

This menu is designed as a ‘reheat at home’ meal. Reheat instructions will be provided. Our friendly United Way staff will deliver your meals to your front door the day of the event.

This event is an opportunity to come together, build community, and raise funds for the important work United Way does daily to ensure people have homes, students graduate, and families are financially stable. We hope you’ll join us!
