A long-time member of our San Antonio culinary community needs our help!
Steven Silbas and his wife Barbara Wolfe have been important members and friends of our community - and have been known to give back to others. Steven has worked in the restaurant community since 1987 - and he and his wife owned and operated Casbeers Bar and Grill and Casbeers at the Church.
Now, Steven needs our help. While awaiting a kidney transplant and facing medical bills without insurance, his wife, Barbara, suddenly passed away. So, to help him out financially and in spirit, a benefit brunch and food station event will take place at Biga on the Banks on Sunday, January 19, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
This event is limited for tickets - only 300 available!

Team Emma Update:
Emma, the daughter of Biga on the Banks' Executive Sous Chef Daniel, was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor and went through radiation. Today, she has made great progress and continues to work on strengthening her immune system while getting better one day at a time. Team Emma inspired this amazing event last year and we hope that we will be able to help many more families in our culinary community for years to come.
