Event description

Description

You've made ricotta. You've done chevre. Your home cheesemaking career is ready for something more. Join Creambrook Farm and veteran cheesemaker Louella Hill for an advanced home cheesemaking class.

During this one-of-a-kind opportunity, we'll mix milk and cream then inoculate with special mold spores. Next we'll ripen, churn and drain the curds. We'll taste a selection of Brie-like cheeses then learn about aging conditions, serving ideas and more. Finally, you'll get a chance to visit with the hard working ladies who provided the class's milk. You'll be sent home with a reusable cheese form, your very own Baby Brie (which will finish ripening in 2-3 weeks) and tons of cheesemaking enthusiasm.

Class size limited to 10 students. Sign up soon!

Louella will be signing copies of her book on home cheesemaking book, Kitchen Creamery, after class. Creambrook Farm will have additional information on their herdshare program available as well.
