Cheese Workshop: Make Your Own Mozzarella

Cheese is back! Italian cheese maestro, Arcangelo "Lino" Esposito of Belfiore Cheese in Berkeley will head our fall cheese workshop, teaching participants the secrets of making ricotta and leading them in pulling mozzarella from curd. As a special bonus, he will demonstrate how to make curd from milk. The class will leave with the mozzarella they pull, recipes for ricotta and mozzarella, as well as curd to practice on at home.

About the Instructor
Arcangelo "Lino" Esposito is the General Manager of Belfiore Cheese Company in Berkeley, CA. Belfiore Cheese Company is one of the few remaining small, family-owned cheese making operations in the Bay Area. All Belfiore products are made 100% naturally without any additives or preservatives. The operation was established in 1987 as one of the first pioneers producing hand crafted Italian-style Mozzarella, Fior di Latte (of Fresh Mozzarella in water) here in America.
Refunds are available if notice is given 48 hours prior to the event. There are no refunds after that point, but you're welcome to pick up any materials and supplies handed out in class. Please be sure to email firstname.lastname@example.org *before* class to ensure that your items are held for you. Without advanced notice, we may not be able to save everything. Please make sure to pick it up by the Saturday following the class as materials tend to be perishable.
