Description

This intimate class is perfect for the beginner cheesemaker or the cheese enthusiast wanting to know more about the art and science of cheese. Participants will learn about the fundamental ingredients used in all cheeses, as well as a relaxed discussion on basic milk composition characteristics and its importance in cheesemaking. Learn about the differences that separate cheese varieties, as we guide you through a tasting of fresh, soft ripened, bloomy, washed rind, hard, and blue cheeses. You'll leave confident in how to select, store, cut, and serve cheese!

As this is a tasting class, please let us know if you or anyone in your party have any food allergies.

All classes are held at Rockin’ Baker, and a portion of class proceeds go to the Rockin’ Baker Academy to enable self-sufficiency through on-site job skills training.


Registration Information:

After selecting tickets, you will have 5 minutes to complete your order. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. You will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite once payment is completed. If you are unable to purchase tickets, the event is sold out. However, please sign up for the waitlist on Eventbrite in the event we are able to accommodate guests due to cancellations.
