Description

We often take cheddar for granted due to its ubiquitous presence is our daily lives, however, it is actually one of the oldest cheese recipes in the world. Originating in the village of Cheddar in Somerset, England in the 12th century, cheddar has roots that go back to stonemasons hailing from Cantal, France! In this class Will, cheese buyer and cheddar expert, will explore the history, process and unique flavors of cheddar cheese. During the class you will taste 8 different cheddars paired with both classic and unconventional condiments to highlight the variability of this amazing cheese! Per usual, you will also have 4 beverage pairings to help wash it all down!
