Description

This is a one-day event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Chattanooga Downtown, 407 Chestnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402. Hotel Phone: (423) 756-5150

It is open to all VFC providers and staff; we strongly recommend the primary and back-up VFC Coordinators attend the conference.


REGISTRATION: Opens at 8 A.M. (Continental Breakfast Provided)

PRESENTATION: Begins at 9 A.M. and will conclude at 4 P.M.

All times are based on local time zones. This venue is in the Eastern Time Zone.


EDUCATIONAL CREDITS: To receive continuing education credits registrants must attend a minimum of 75% of the conference, no exceptions.

CMEs: Physicians, pharmacists, and advanced practice practitioners (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) can receive credit by checking the CME option during registration.

Contact Hours: Tennessee educational contact hours will be awarded on site to RNs, LPNs, and MAs.


PARKING: The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Chattanooga Downtown has a paid parking lot. There is a $7 fee for valet parking that the State of TN will cover for all Spring Review participants. When you arrive to the hotel, please pull up and tell the valet that you are attending the TN Department of Health Spring Review and desire to Valet Park. After you get out of your car, they will give you a valet ticket. Please bring your parking ticket inside, you will receive a stamp on your ticket to validate it and you will not have to pay. This validation is only good once and you can only receive one. So, if you drive your car out for lunch and return, you will have to pay the parking to leaving the 2nd time. If you prefer to Self Park, you can still just ask for a ticket and bring it inside for us to validate. just remember that the validation is only good once and you can not go in and out of the parking lot unless you are willing to pay for any trips after the 1st one that the State will cover. There are restaurants in walking distance of the hotel and inside the hotel. So, you don't have to move your car for lunch, unless you just want to drive it.


ATTIRE: Dress comfortably and in layers. Conference room temperatures typically run on the cool side.


REFRESHMENTS: Coffee, tea and soft drinks will be available in the morning and afternoon.


LUNCH: On your own. There are dining options on-site or short drive from the hotel.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Please address all aspects of the Spring Review to Howard C. Young, III, VFC Quality Assurance Administrator; email is the preferred option for reaching him, howard.young@tn.gov.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?: No.

Cancellations: If you cannot attend and want someone else to attend in your place, please cancel your registration and have your replacement enter a new reservation.

Walk-ins will be accepted on a first come-first serve basis as seating permits. On-site registration is NOT guaranteed, but we will make every effort to accommodate walk-ins as long as there are open seats.


Can I enter a group registration for multiple people in our office?

No. While you can register for other people in your office, each person must be as a separate entry. If you register for a coworker please provide the person's correct information (title, valid email address and correct spelling of their name). Name tags and certificates of attendance will come from the information you provid in this registration module.


Can I update my registration information?

Yes. You can update your information until the registration cut-off date, April 1, 2017. After that, you can only cancel your registration altogether or make any changes on-site.

Do I need my printed ticket to enter the event?

No. You will not need a ticket to enter. All information will be sent to us electronically and your name will be on the roll if you complete the registration process. The ticket is merely a confirmation that you completed the registration process.

Will we get a certificate for completion of the Spring Review?

Yes! At the completion of the training, everyone who pre-registered will receive a certificate of completion (see above for restrictions). The name that you give us in registration will be printed on your certificate, so double-check spelling! Walk-in registrations will receive certificates if they are ready at the end of the training, too. If they are not ready when the training ends, they will be emailed.
