Event Details

The Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council and The Ohio State University-Fisher College of Business propose The Middle Market MBE program. The goal of the program is to provide development opportunities to middle market MBEs to ensure their long-term viability and continued growth.  Emphasis will be placed on Operational Excellence throughout the program as MBEs will be asked to identify a problem area with a customer that they wish to exploit or improve upon. OSU Fisher will tailor curriculum content based on the problem areas identified and apply A3 Thinking.



  • APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 4, 2019 6PM EST and ALL MBEs have to apply to be accepted into the program
  • There will be 5 sessions held once a month on Fridays (March 15th, April 12th, May 17th June 14th and July 12th
  • Sessions will start at 8am and end at 5pm
  • MBEs are required to submit a definition statement of a problem area with a customer that they wish to exploit or improve upon by FEBRUARY 4, 2019
  • Focus on Operational Excellence
  • OSU will tailor the program content based on the problem areas identified and apply A3 thinking
  • 2-3 attendees per MBE; senior leadership executives(s) who owns the problem
  • OSU will provide coaches and student consultants to help determine solutions
  • Cost per MBE is $500.00 non-refundable
