Join us Sunday, April 16 for the second annual Charlotte StrEATs Festival in partnership with Charlotte SHOUT! Attendees can celebrate the city’s culinary scene at this FREE event! While this is a free event, please register to let us know you're coming. This will allow us to create the best experience for everyone.
The festival will feature a special appearance from world-renowned chef, Alex Guarnashelli! Chef Alex will be doing a cooking demonstration and emceeing our Neighborhood Cook-off curated by The Plaid Penguin! These battles will pit chefs head-to-head in a cook-off to win the title of StrEATs Neighborhood Champion.

Cocktail Tasting Wristbands: Purchase a cocktail wristband to taste craft cocktails created by Charlotte’s top mixologists! Mixologists will create a beverage from our partners that best represents their neighborhood. 21+ only. Wristbands are on sale now for $25. They will be available for sale at the event as well. In partnership with Charlotte SHOUT!, food publication Unpretentious Palate and Carben Events are excited to introduce a new festival celebrating the chefs and neighborhoods that make Charlotte's culinary scene what it is.
Attendees will taste their way through the city's most iconic neighborhoods without leaving Gateway Village in Uptown! The festival will also feature cooking demonstrations, neighborhood vs. neighborhood cook-offs, celebrity chefs, food trucks, live music, art and vendors.
