Event description

Description

The Charlotte NAPNAP Chapter will be hosting another two day conference this year that will offer 11 CE credits. We are excited to have some unique speakers and topics this year, including an attorney to present on medical malpractice, a local pediatrician to discuss plant based nutrition and a family physician to present on caring for LGBT youth.

Speakers will be relevant to both Primary Care and Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioners as well as any PA or NP caring for children. More detailed conference information will regularly be updated below as we continue to finalize speakers and presentation times.

This year we will be supporting the "Read To Me, Charlotte" initiative coordinated by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Library to support the Born Reader Program and Community Bookshelves Project. We ask that all conference participants please bring a new or gently used elementary and/or pre-school aged book to donate to this wonderful program. Alternatively, we have added a donation option in the conference registration where you may click to donate your desired amount towards our book drive. Our Charlotte Chapter board members will use this money to go out and purchase books to donate. Please click here to learn more about this community-wide initiative.
