Charleston Book Talk & Author Event: The New Art of Capturing Love
Friday, November 7, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Kathryn Hamm, President of GayWeddings.com and co-author of The New Art of Capturing Love: The Essential Guide to Lesbian & Gay Wedding Photography makes her debut appearance in Charleston, SC to share latest legal updates and same-sex wedding trends impacting the Palmetto State. The book talk and signing, which is co-sponsored by Scarlet Plan & Design and Pink Dot Beauty Bar, will be hosted by O’Hara & Flynn Wine Bar at 225 Meeting Street in Charleston on November 7 from 12-2pm.
Hamm’s appearance coincides with the dramatic Supreme Court decision to decline to hear the pending marriage cases this term, resulting 7 new states (Virginia, Utah, Wisconsin, Indiana, Oklahoma; and, Colorado and Nevada) embracing marriage equality within 2 days’ time; and with the related domino effect of the respective jurisdictions of Circuit Court of Appeals leading to an expected recognition of marriage equality in 35 states (including South Carolina) and the District of Columbia by year’s end.
Space is limited for this event and registration is required. Ticket price includes a copy of The New Art of Capturing Love. Light fare and libation will be available during the event at a discounted price.
