Charity Music Concert in memory of Sian

Come join us for a special evening of music and remembrance at The Chapel, Saint David’s Park. Let's celebrate the life of Sian through the power of music.

This ia a small venue with a max of 100 seated tickets avaliable (standing tickets on the door subject to avalibility). Whilst we are not charging a fixed ticket price donations to Maggies (Maggie's: Charity Music Concert for Maggies's in memory Of Sian) or on the door are apreciated.

The venue has wheelchair access and toilets are avalible accross the road in building 2

The concert will be a mix of classical and pop tunes that have, on the whole, featured in films or TV shows played by a group of local orchestral players and their friends/familys (with a few twisted arms).

Sian was an amazing friend, wife, mother, daughter and sister who was taken from us far too young. She gave everything she had to helping anyone in need whether through her work as a nurse, as her role in her family or to her friends. If you needed to have a rant she was there, if you needed a shoulder to cry on she was there, if you needed a talking to she was there for that too. After a long battle with cancer she said her last goodbyes in May this year.

Sian sang the praises of Maggies for the practical help they gave her and I wanted to do something to thank them and celebrate Sian who went to any and every concers she could from Tom Jones and Bruce Springstien to Pink and even the amazing tones of Welsh male voice choirs.

For those who haven't heard of Maggies they are a fantastic charity close to my heart, set up to support people and families living with cancer. They offer practical and emotional support for anyone with any type of cancer, at any stage, for free. They receive no government funds and rely on funds raised by their supporters.

They focus on the things that really make a difference, and I can't wait to support them.
