Charity Knitting Night - 1/17/13
Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (EST)
New York, NY
This winter, we knit for Operation Provide Warmth in order to respond to the immediate needs of those impacted by Superstorm Sandy.
Together we will knit hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, socks, slippers, sweaters, and blankets to help warm Sandy Victims this winter.
Any style, size or fiber content items will be accepted for adults and children.
If you don't know how to knit, someone can teach you.
Affordable supplies (needles and yarn) will also be available for purchase.
Wine and cheese will be served.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get more information or to join our special knitting email list.
(Please note that we will get back to knitting baby booties for the Phoebe H. Stein Child Life Program at The Children's Hospital of Montefiore soon. So, don't drop (frog) those projects just yet!)
