Charity Distress Run Day for the Preservation of the Environment from War
Overview
Charity 5k Distress Run Day for the Preservation of the Environment from War and Armed Conflict.
Join us for a Charity 5k Distress Run to mark the International Day for the Preservation of the Environment from War and Armed Conflict. The event is a chance to unwind from uni stress, raise awareness about the impact of war on nature, and support those working to protect life on the frontlines.
All proceeds will be donated to @uanimals.eng, a Ukrainian charity helping animals affected by war. They rescue and shelter stray animals, support shelters near the frontlines, and assist wild, farm, and zoo animals through rescue and rehabilitation programs.
The run starts and finishes at Coopers at 5:00 PM and will likely wrap up by 6:00 PM. We’ll end the evening back at Coopers.
