Organizer

Colorado Public Human Resources Association

Colorado Public Human Resources Association (CPHRA) has been in existence for over 30 years. The organization began in the early 1970’s as the Colorado Public Personnel Directors Association (CPPDA).  In 1985, there was recognition that all levels of Human Resources needed the support of the industry community; thus, the name and mission of the organization was changed and it then became the Colorado Public Personnel Association (CPPA).

To futher broaden support for all Human Resources professionals, the organization changed its name in 2001 to Colorado Public Human Resources Association (CPHRA). The Board is dedicated to continuing CPHRA’s long-standing support of human resources professionals in the public sector.
