Creating characters and the worlds they live in can be a tremendous challenge. Whether you're looking to create a character -- or set of characters -- for a narrative, roleplaying game, or any other purpose, this class will help you make the most of your imagination. Join us for four nights of collaborative creativity and fun.
January 6th - Genesis
The class will come together to create new characters, from scratch. Learn the basics of what makes a strong character and how to utilize them.
January 13th - The World Around Us
As our new characters, the class will develop the world around them, especially as their character sees it. Get to know the character’s family and other acquaintances.
January 20th - Then There Was Conflict
As our characters, discover the things that dislike us most. What wishes to do is harm? What stands in our way? And how can we overcome these obstacles?
January 27th - Narrative Insertion
Ready yourself as a creative and begin unraveling the story of the character you've built. What kind of story will he or she fit in, and when is it best to explore their lives?
