Chaparral Spring Property Tour
Sat, July 22, 2017, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM PDT
Save Mount Diablo transferred Chaparral Spring to the East Bay Regional Park District in 2008 to ensure that it was permanently preserved as part of a public open space connection between Black Diamond Mines and Mt. Diablo State Park. We are still leading hikes on the property to showcase the blue oak groves and all that beauty that the Marsh Creek Watershed has to offer. Join us for a hike on this stunning property that is not yet open to the public. Be sure to dress in layers and wear sturdy boots or shoes; bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a snack.
