We invite you to the fourth iteration of a dynamic conference, Channeling Resilience: Community and Individual Healing by and for Young Men of Color on April 20, 2018. It will be held at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY. The exact event time is to be determined, but all registrants will be notified of the time in advance of the event. The conference will focus on mutual healing among young men of color and their communities.

It is important to us that this exploration of mutual healing lifts up the experience not only of the larger nonprofits working in this area, but equally, the voices of grassroots organizations, experienced practitioners, and crucially, the young men themselves. While we will undoubtedly acknowledge the enormous and grave extent of the violence young men face, we will focus our attention on channeling resilience and strategies for mutual healing that work for young men of color and their communities so that we leave with concrete tools and deeper hope.

This event is organized by: Center for Court Innovation, Common Justice/Healing Works, Crime Victims Treatment Center, Crown Heights Community Mediation Center/Make It Happen, and the Kings County District Attorney's Office.
