The Testing Child
Understanding the Secrets of the Testing Child and Avoid Using Discipline Approaches That Don't Work So You Can Ignite Change

Live Face-to-Face Workshop Training

at Babies in Common

After this training you will understand the motives of each individual child in each specific circumstance. Your understanding will be validating to the child which will lead to true communication. Using techniques to read a child's behavior will allow you to respond to them appropriately. You will know how to identify themes and triggers in your children's behaviors. You will learn how to use a child's internal clock as a tool to good behavior. You will effectively be able to tell a child "no". You will also be able to teach children to problem solve.

Modify Your Child's Behaviors
Master Using Appropriate Consequences and Positive Discipline For Each Unique Child's Needs So That You Can Improve Your Child's Behaviors and Ignite Change

Live Face-to-Face Workshop Training
September 25th, 2013 7:00 PM-9:00 PM ET
at Babies in Common
28 Grafton Common 2nd Floor
Grafton, MA 01519

This training will teach you to stop reacting generally to all children's undesirable behaviors. You will learn how to consciously react to your children's behaviors. You will also be able to lessen your frustration while choosing and implementing appropriate, concrete, and effective consequences for each child's individual needs.

You can take this individual training and walk away with empowering insights and tools, or you can pair it up with my Modifying Your Children's Behaviors Training and benefit your new found knowledge with real concrete tactics to ignite change! When you take both workshops you experience the full package of transformation in yourself and in your children.

Jill Vetstein's Nurturing Parents and Teachers

Welcome to Nurturing Parents and Teachers. I am Jill Vetstein, LICSW, CEIS, founder, and owner of Nurturing Parents and Teachers. My goal is to provide high quality training for parents, caregivers and early childhood providers in every situation. I understand and respect the fact that every child, parent, childcare provider, and caregiver has his or her own temperament, style, and personality.

Every daycare and home has its own unique circumstances and strengths. What works for one family may not work for others. What may work best for one child is not necessarily the best approach for another child. No matter what the circumstances, I can teach you how to improve relationships and behaviors with a positive approach. The focus will be on positive discipline, teaching moments, and building a child’s self worth. Both you and your child will gain a new level of confidence.

Every question is thoroughly explored and answered whether services are one-on-one or in a workshop atmosphere. Personal visits take place in Massachusetts. Webcam and telephone consultations and training are available worldwide. As a Developmental Specialist and founder of Nurturing Parents and Teachers, I offer education and coaching for parents, caregivers, teachers, and childcare providers for children from birth to five years of age.
