Description

Changes are coming! If you work in clinical research, you need to know what these changes are!

On April 1, 2018, Health Canada will adopt the first update to the International Council on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice guideline (ICH GCP E6 R2) into Canadian law. With this change, PHCRI is adopting mandatory clinical research staff training to ensure that clinical research at PHC is conducted in accordance with the training requirements that come into effect April 1st. Come learn about the new requirements and how to access the free training and Standard Operating Procedures that are being provided to personnel conducting clinical research at PHC.

In addition, practical tips about Health Canada’s interpretation of the new changes will be presented to ensure that you are compliant in your own clinical research studies.

The presentation will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 4:00-5:00 PM followed by questions, snacks, and networking until 5:30. This will be held in the Cullen Family Lecture Theatre, St. Paul’s Hospital.

Everyone is welcome. Please encourage your research team to attend.

Light refreshments will be provided, please RSVP if you will be attending. SOCRA/ACRP credits are available, CME credits are pending confirmation.
