The event is an introduction of the first and largest champagne cellar and champagne showroom made by The Champagne Sommelier™ founder Oumy Diaw for Ambassador Wines & Spirits.
The trade will be able to have a tour of the newly revamped Champagne cellar by Oumy Diaw and preview of the new digital Champagne Showroom she created by appointment-only operating in spring 2014. They will have also the opportunity to know more about her platform and concept.
Oumy Diaw created the trademark title and concept "Champagne Sommelier™" based on her experience from France, UK and USA in Champagne business. She remains the first and only professional sommelier dedicated and specialized in Champagne in NYC.
Several key champagne Houses will be featured in a walk around tasting; including a 2 sit down sessions of Champagne Tasting Protocol for limited seating.
Oumy Diaw will review with the tickets holders the elements not covered in the wine industry to able to better understand Champagne, to have the proper tasting tool and above all implement them for great selling.
This will be also an opportunity to discuss between sessions with Oumy Diaw, ideas and challenges the trade goes through when it comes to sell Champagne.
This is a Premier in the wine industry that a Champagne specialist, with a sommelier and Champagne Brand management of 11 eleven years, will build series of future seminars at The Champagne Cellar of Ambassador Wines.
The New Champagne 101 Book will be available for sales at a trade Price: 25.99$ (versus 35$ regularly).
Schedule: 1-5 pm walking around tasting; Tasting Protocol Master Class sessions 2-3 pm or 4-5 pm.
