FAQs

What is the Chamblee Rail Trail?

The CRT is a multi-use trail that connects the area of Chamblee near the MARTA station to Keswick Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. Rail spurs that are no longer in use were re-purposed to create the trail, allowing pedestrians and cyclists to pass under Peachtree Blvd. and Clairmont Rd. and avoid the auto traffic on those roads. The portion of the trail used for the festival is essentially a linear park that begins under the Clairmont Rd. overpass and continues to the Keswick Park softball field adjacent to the trail.

 What is a “makers” festival?

The festival is intended for artisans who make the products they are selling. Though there will be art exhibited (because we love art!), this festival is geared more toward showcasing those who have lovingly crafted functional objects rather than art or decoration.
