Hosted by Pejepscot Historical Society, Chamberlain Day celebrates the rich legacy of Maine's most famous soldier, scholar, and statesman.

This year's event features a behind-the-scenes Chamberlain Museum tour, free admission to the museum all day, a living history presentation with Generals Chamberlain and Wooster, teatime tales with Fanny Chamberlain, a keynote address by Jared Peatman, author of a forthcoming book on the 20th Maine Regiment, and an evening of Civil War songs with mezzo-soprano Roxane Althouse, in the stunning Bowdoin College chapel.
