Come to the first concert in our free chamber music concert series at Church of the Ascension in downtown Silver Spring.

The program will include the childlike Dolly Suite for piano four-hands, by Gabriel Fauré, the fiery Tango Ballet (String Quartet) by Astor Piazzolla, the Trio for Piano, Oboe, and Horn by Carl Reinecke, a flute, oboe, and piano trio on the themes of the William Tell Overture (Duo Brilliant by Jules Demerssemen), a cheerful String Quartet op 74, no.2 by Franz Josef Haydn, the foot-tapping clarinet quartet, Estampas Criollas by Beatriz Lockhart, and a clarinet quartet arrangement of the String Quartet No.12, the American, by Antonin DvořáK
The concert is free, and a freewill offering will be taken. There will be a reception following in the Parish Hall. Please feel free to bring a dessert to share. Beverages will be provided.
