C&H Precision Rifle Training Overview:

The C&H Precision Weapons One Day Training Course is for shooters that are looking for an in-depth course that focuses on both the science, and the art of long range shooting discipline. We take a systematic approach to the Science and Art of marksmanship and the mechanics of your equipment. You’ll build a solid foundation of core skills that you can continue to expand on.

We have found that the best learning comes in small classes with a majority of our time spent shooting, watching others shoot in a match style environment.


Class Room Period: 1.5 hours

Range Basics: 2 hours

  • Zero Rifles
  • Measure MZ
  • Build Ballistics Profiles
  • Calibrate / True Ballistic Profiles

Lunch – 30 min

Advanced Range Shooting – 4 hours

  • Long Range Target Engagement
  • Positional Target Engagement
  • Match Style Group Shooting

Course Review / Debrief / Hot Wash – 1 hour

Bio – Buck Holly

Buck Holly is a native of Anchorage Alaska and spent his formative years in the Scandinavian region of central Minnesota after which he joined the US Marine Corps and served nine years on active duty.

After active duty service Buck worked as a Engineering Program Manager in the defense industry working for several defense contractors and for the DoD specializing in night vision, optics, weapon system development, testing and training.

In 2013 Buck founded C&H Precision Weapons in order to serve the growing market of precision rifle shooting and custom pistols with the highest quality hand built precision firearms.

Buck has been teaching precision shooting and competitively shooting for more than 12 years. C&H sponsors an entire team of Nationally ranked precision rifle shooters. Buck believes there is no better way to showcase his companies custom built rifles than to sponsor great shooters and allow them to prove the quality of his builds.

All six of the C&H Pro Shooting team qualified for the PRS National Finals in 2017. Buck won two matches in 2017 and finished tied for first in the 2017 Finale Tactical Division and ultimately finished second due to a tiebreaker.

2017 Final Results:

The 2018 Precision Rifle Series season started off with a bang as Buck took home the Tactical Div Championships at the Steel City Precision Rifle Challenge in Tennessee and the Lone Survivor Match in Texas and currently the top ranked shooting in the PRS Tactical Division Series.
