Description

The UC San Diego AIDS Research Institute, and the Center for AIDS Research are pleased to present August Guang in seminar, speaking on "Preserving intra-patient variance improves phylogenetic inference of HIV transmission networks." Ms. Guang is a PhD candidate in applied mathematics and computational molecular biology at Brown University.

Refreshments will be provided for registered participants so don't delay!

Please refer to this map link for directions. The closest visitor parking spaces are in the Gilman Parking Structure and Lot P603. If you need to use visitor parking, please purchase permits at paystations at each location. Permits purchased elsewhere on campus will be invalid. Allow for 10 minutes walking time to the Leightag building. Place the permit face up on the driver's side of your car's dashboard.
