Speaker bios:
Julia Zhang, Co-founder at Lemore Lab
Julia work closely with hardware startups in the US and China to help them gain attention, attract investors, and raise funds through crowdfunding. She's experienced in crowdfunding marketing and strategic paid media planning. Prior to Lemore Lab, Julia worked in global marketing consultancies including Hill&Knowlton and Racepoint Global.
Jeff Wu, Product Marketing Manager at RainFactory
As a long-time marketing enthusiast, Jeff received his MBA in marketing analytics from the University of Maryland. Specializing in cross-cultural marketing, he has worked both in China and in the U.S. - with Publicis Groupe in Shanghai and now with Rainfactory in the U.S. Jeff has launched 7 crowdfunding campaigns while at Rainfactory, including a number of multimillion dollar campaigns, including XGIMI's H1 projector, ONAGOfly's drone and crazybaby's Air wireless headphones.
Jim Fields, Founder at Relay Video
Jim is the founder of Relay Video, a creative production agency that specializes in creating stunning pieces of video content, both for disruptive startup businesses and large technology companies. Some of his notorious works include Ticwatch (Raised $1.8 million), COWABOT (raised $600000), VINCI (Raised $1 million) and other successful launches with Zerozero Hover Camera and Xiaomi.
Ben Bateman, Sr. Director, Strategic Programs at Indiegogo
Ben currently leads Indiegogo's China efforts. He has been a key player in building Indiegogo's hardware category, and now focuses on helping Asia-based companies launch products internationally through Indiegogo. Over the past two years he has worked with some of Indiegogo's largest campaigns including the Ubuntu Edge, JIBO, Axent Wear, and many more.
