Description

Do you love everything about computers and software and yearn to be in the field? Do you want to develop websites and apps that make a difference or that people enjoy? And do you eventually want to work on your own own tech start-up? If so, York’s Certified Web Developer Course is for you!

Lead by experts in the field, you will learn the skills needed to become a web developer. You will also create a portfolio of projects that can be shown to any prospective employer. Ultimately, you will be certified as a Java Certified Junior Associate.

In this course you will:

  • Learn The Basics of How the World Wide Web, Websites, and The Internet Work
  • Learn How to Build Static Websites using HTML5 and CSS3
  • Learn How to Build Interactive Websites using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and JQuery
  • Learn the Fundamentals of Relational Databases and Oracle SQL
  • Learn the Fundamentals of the Java Programming Language
  • Learn How to Build Websites that Can Create, Read, Update, and Delete Data
