Who is a ScrumMaster?

A ScrumMaster is a development facilitator who is responsible for enabling Scrum teams to maximize their effectiveness by addressing systemic issues and dysfunctions in the team. The ScrumMaster has four primary focus areas as shown in the below picture - System, Practices, Product Onwer and Development Team. This workshop is a role specific workshop to learn about the role of ScrumMaster. If you have never seen ScrumMaster roles defined as in below pitcture, you must attend our workshop.

  • Run couple of Sprints for the class project.
  • Simulate and discuss issues that team may face during Sprint and learn how ScrumMaster can help the team.


When do we start and end each day?

The classroom opens at 8:30 AM each day and class will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. We will end at 5:30 PM each day.

What should I wear?

Wear anything that makes you comfortable. There are no rules!

What should I bring?

Just yourself. You don't need a laptop, although you are free to bring one.

Will there be food?

Yes, we will provide light morning breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks, and coffee for both days of the workshop.

Is there something I should read before the workshop?

Yes, atleast read the Scrum guide that will be sent you when you register. You know what, its only 16 pages.

I'm an introvert who is not so big on the whole audience participation thing. Will this class make me uncomfortable?

Participation in any physical exercise is of course optional--in fact the role of "observer" is quite valuable, so feel free to participate at your ability and comfort levels. Remember, people are different and we value that!

Do you offer a guarantee?

We guarantee our services unconditionally. If you aren't satisfied, we aren't either, and we'll work with you to make it right, up to and including your money back.

What is your refund policy?

If we must cancel a class due to low enrollment or other factors, enrollees will be given a full refund.

If you have registered for a workshop and find you cannot attend, you are eligible for a full refund up to 7 business days before the class start date. Simply let us know in writing, that you cannot attend class and would like a refund and we will process your full refund.

After this date, no refunds are available. However, if you cannot attend class, you are welcome to send a friend or colleague to take your spot in class. You may also, for a $100 fee, roll your registration to a future class on a space-available basis. To request a cancellation, roll into another class, or substitute a registration, please contact us.
