Upon completion of the course and a post-course online evaluation, participants are registered as Certified ScrumMasters (CSM's). Registration includes a two-year membership in the Scrum Alliance, (www.scrumalliance.org) where valuable ScrumMaster material and information are available.

Besides Scrum education, this course has a bigger purpose of changing the world, and connecting and inspiring others to do the same. 10% of class proceeds will be donated to a charity highlighted during the class.

Class starts promptly at 9 AM and typically ends around 5 PM. Please arrive at 8:30 AM so we can start promptly at 9 AM.  Dress comfortably.  There will be a lot of interactivity both sitting & standing.  Lunch, snacks, coffee and drinks are provided both days.

This course is 15 Category 3 PDU's and 16 Scrum Education Units towards the Certified Scrum Professional credential.

About the Instructors

About Victor Bonacci

Victor 'Vic' Bonacci has been working with software teams since 1999, first as a programmer and project manager, and since 2009 as a scrum master and coach. He joined Rocket Nine in 2018.

Vic is very active in the local Agile community. He started the Agile Coffee Meetup in 2011 and the Agile Coffee podcast two years later, and he volunteers at the Agile Opens in SoCal. In 2017 Vic was co-chair of Scrum Alliance's Global Scrum Gathering in San Diego. He lives in Orange County with his wife and daughter.

About Roger Brown

Roger Brown is the owner and principal consultant of Agile Crossing. He is an agile coach and trainer with a background in software development. Roger is an experienced software engineer, technical project manager and staff manager. He has experience working with both large and small companies in many industries. His work experience includes Dartmouth College, Vicinity Corporation, Microsoft and TeleAtlas. Roger is one of four people in the world to hold all certifications granted by the Scrum Alliance including Certified Scrum Trainer and Certified Scrum Coach. He is a member of the Scrum Alliance, the Agile Alliance and the Agile Project Leadership Network (APLN). Roger is a founding member and certification board member for the Certified Scrum Coach program.

Cancellation Policy - Reschedule to another of our classes anytime, or cancel anytime up to 7 days before class for 100% refund. Fewer than 7 days notice will result in a 75% refund to cover hard costs. No-shows or move/cancellation requests on day of class are non-refundable. For minimum learning experience, the course must run with a minimum five registrants. If fewer than five are registered, the class may be cancelled three to seven days in advance, and attendees will be offered seats in the next Rocket Nine Solutions classes in the area or a full refund.
