Overview

Many organizations gain experience with Scrum. Agile teams often encounter boundaries, because agile working hasn’t been implemented yet in the rest of the organization. There is, however, much to be gained if the whole production chain is optimized and the Value Stream as a whole is geared to one another. This course will provide participants with the knowledge needed to lead an Agile transformation using the Scaled Agiled Framework®, while also using the underlying principles of lean for the entire product development process.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you will have a good understanding of both the principles and practice the Framework provides to support Lean-Agile Programs, Agile Scaling, Lean-Agile Program Portfolio Management and Leadership in Scaling. In short, the formation of a full-Agile Enterprise.

Prerequisites

This course assumes basic knowledge of agile, preferably supplemented with extensive practical experience.

Course Content

We offer a 2-day program with an elaborate and yet a very practical program. The following topics are addressed:

Day 1

  • Introduction in SAFe
  • Lean Thinking
  • Scaling Agile
  • Agile Release Train (part 1)

Day 2

  • Agile release Train (part 2)
  • Portfolio
  • Scaling Leadership

Certification

After the training, you will receive a link to the online exam. You have 30 days to take the exam. When you pass the exam, you will automatically receive both the SAFe Agilist (SA) certificate as one year Academy Membership of the Scaled Agile Academy.
