WHAT IS LeSS?
LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum) provides simple structural rules and guidelines on adopting Scrum in large development efforts and is also a framework for scaling Agile development across multiple teams. LeSS builds on Scrum principles such as empiricism, cross-functional and self-managing teams and provides a framework for applying those at scale.
HOW TO BECOME A CERTIFIED LeSS PRACTITIONER
The Certified LeSS Practitioner course is an in-depth course covering the LeSS principles, framework, rules, and guides. It provides essential information for adopting and continuously improving LeSS in your product development group using various thinking tools, organizational tools and action tools. The course contains an overview of LeSS, stories on LeSS adoptions, exercises and extensive Q&A sessions to ensure we discuss the topics most of interest to the participants.
WHO NEEDS LeSS?
The Certified LeSS Practitioner course is for Project Managers, Development Managers and Product Owners—and anyone who is involved a large agile adoption—who already have basic Scrum knowledge. Ideally attendees will have taken a Certified ScrumMaster, or be thoroughly familiar with Scrum introduction materials, such as the Scrum Guide and practicing Scrum.The Certified LeSS Practitioner course is for Project Managers, Development Managers and Product Owners—and anyone who is involved a large agile adoption—who already has basic Scrum knowledge. Ideally attendees will have taken a Certified ScrumMaster or Professional ScrumMaster course, or be thoroughly familiar with Scrum introduction materials, such as the Scrum Primer and practicing Scrum.
In this highly interactive course, participants will get a thorough introduction to LeSS, a deep understanding of the underlying principles and the concrete practices to help them to implement LeSS in their own organization.

ABOUT YOUR TRAINER
Karim Harbott is an experienced enterprise Lean-Agile Coach and trainer. He has guided many large organizations through ‘Agile transformations’ and helped them on their journey to continuous improvement in their product development capability.
Karim is comfortable operating at all levels of the organization, but specializes in the enterprise level and organizational redesign.
As a trained business and executive coach, Karim is well placed to build internal capabilities in an organization; be it developing Agile Coaches, ScrumMasters, Product Owners, Developers, or working at the C-level to help leaders make the changes necessary to enable Large-Scale Scrum and true business agility.
Karim is a Certified Enterprise Coach, Certified LeSS Trainer, Certified Scrum Trainer, and Accredited Kanban Trainer.
Registration is now open. Class each day will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Arlington Tech eXchange (ATX) at 2300 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 610, Arlington, Virginia (located at the Court House Metro station on the Orange and Silver lines). Light breakfast will be available at 8:30 a.m. each day and lunch will also be provided.
Students submitting cancellation requests 10 business days or more prior to the start of the course are entitled to a full refund. Students submitting cancellation requests less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course will be issued credit toward a future Excella training course. The credit will be equal to the amount paid for the initial course less any applicable fees. Should the organizer cancel the course for any reason, each registered students will be refunded 100% of the registration cost they paid.
