Goals

The Harada Method - Achieving Greatness

The roots of the Harada Method can be found in the Lean Manufacturing principles for achieving quality, speed and customer alignment.

The key principles at the heart of the Harada Method include: eliminating waste, creating knowledge, respect for people and optimizing the whole.

The Harada Method brings the power of coaching to make you a better leader, sharpen your goal setting skills, and align your mind, body and spirit. The essence of the Harada Method is ‘Self-Reliance’, the ability to become highly skilled and depend on your own abilities to achieve whatever you choose.

Once you can clearly plan and achieve your goals, you will be excited to work, knowing you are on your way to reaching your fullest potential.

Background

Takashi Harada was a junior high school track and field coach at the worst school in Osaka, Japan. After many years studying the world's best coaches, he created a totally new methodology to uplift his students.

The school went from the lowest rated to the highest rated out of 380 schools and the students won 13 gold medals - number one in all of Japan. In 1980, Harada opened a consulting and training company in Tokyo and has trained over 60,000 people at close to 300 companies.

Harada-san was also the coach for Shohei Ohtani, the professional baseball pitcher and designated hitter for the Los Angeles Angels MLB team, and he credits the Harada Method with his success.
