Join our network of SEED PARTNERS facilitating the 7-Dose curriculum to #UprootAbuse in a generation! Become certified to facilitate our education curricula.

PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR THIS TRAINING, FACILITATORS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A SIGNED MOU AND LICENSING AGREEMENT ON FILE WITH BLOOM365 FROM THE SPONSORING SEED PARTNER ORGANIZATION.

BLOOM365’s comprehensive education curricula for teens, young adults and trusted adult allies reduce domestic/sexual/teen dating violence and promote safe and healthy relationships.

This training is for seed partners who want to become trained and licensed to facilitate BLOOM365's 7-Dose curriculum in their local school communities, military installations, domestic/sexual/teen dating violence prevention training programs and more.

The training includes:

  • Completion of the 7-Dose curriculum (Days 1 & 2)
  • Practice facilitation (Day 3)
  • Data collection and reporting (Day 3)
  • Peer Advocate Crew (Day 3)
  • Trusted Adult Ally Training (Days 4 & 5)
  • T-shirt
  • Workbook

THE 7-DOSES

The 7-Dose Curriculum is a research-based and evidence informed Interpersonal Violence prevention and healthy relationship skill building curriculum especially designed for 13-24 year old teens and young adults. This foundational curriculum drives all programs and services at BLOOM365 and is designed to remove the barriers to help for young people who have experienced, witnessed or caused victimization, while cultivating safe and healthy relationships for all and activating young people as advocates for culture change.

Dose 1: Defining Interpersonal Violence & Healthy Relationships

o Definitions: labels, characteristics,behaviors

o Red Flags: verbal, emotional,

physical, sexual violence

o Caring v. controlling

o Consent v. coercion

o Boundary setting

Dose 2: Removing Barriers to Help

o Victim-blaming

o Help-seeking

o Support inventory

o Safety planning

o Coping

o Peer support

Dose 3: Root Causes— Gender Norms v. Exceptions

o Gender stereotypes/norms

o Defining objectification

o Defining masculinity

o Defining gender-based violence

Dose 4: Root Causes — Individual, Relationship, Community, Societal

o Insecurity

o Media influences

o Social acceptance and “group think”

o Taught abusive behavior

o Systemic oppression

Dose 5: Root Solutions for Healthy & Safe Relationships - Self-Awareness

o Self-esteem

Dose 6: Root Solutions for Healthy & Safe Relationships

Implemented in collaboration with a wide network of prevention partners, including schools, youth organizations, family advocacy centers, shelters, faith communities and more, BLOOM365 this 7-Dose education curriculum is designed to cultivate a culture of respect, empathy, consent, equality and kindness, peer to peer.

SEED PARTNERS

Seed Partners are part of a national “early adopter” prevention network of trained and certified facilitators who are the first to implement BLOOM365’s education, advocacy and youth-driven activiation strategies and collect evaluation results in their geographic region.

Seed partners have the option to become trained and certified to deliver one or more of the following BLOOM365 prevention and intervention strategies:

o Educate: 7-Dose Curriculum

o Advocate: Peer Support Groups

o Activate: School-Based PAC Clubs

o Intervene: Youth Violence Intervention and Prevention Project

o Cultivate: Elephant in the Room Circles
