Event description

Description

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Office of Admission invites you to learn more about non-degree, certificate, online and summer programs by joining an information session. Academic Affairs staff will be present to answer your questions about the opportunities available for part-time study, the admissions process, the student experience and the impact your SAIS education could have on your career.

Students can apply and enroll in courses offered at SAIS in international economics, development, strategic studies, energy, environment and more. Courses can be used towards a certificate, transferred to a degree record upon matriculation or taken for personal or professional development.

SAIS offers three certificates for students and professionals seeking to expand on a chosen area of interest without pursuing a degree: the Certificate in International Studies, the Certificate in International Development, and the Certificate in International Economics. These certificates can serve as an important professional credential for those working in an increasingly complex global environment. Each certificate requires a series of four graduate-level courses, so students will need at least two terms to complete a certificate. Financial aid is available to certificate students.
