Event description

Description

In its 16th year, The Cerro Pampa Polo Club's Oyster Cup Charity Polo Tournament takes place on August 24, 2019 and will once again be a summer highlight for Bay Area polo enthusiasts.

This year's event marks the inaugural partnership between Cerro Pampa Polo Club and The Freshwater Trust, a nonprofit river restoration and conservation organization. The Freshwater Trust is actively working to imrpove freshwater ecosystems in the State of California. The Freshwater Trust's mission is dear to the members of the Cerro Pampa Polo Club, and we are thrilled to be partnering with them and helping to raise awareness for their critical mission, impacting all of us throughout the Bay Area.

The Day

As a spectator, you will gain access to the private club starting at 11:30 a.m. the day of the tournament. Upon entry, you will be greated with exceptional local beer and wine as well as polo-themed spirits. A fieldside, farm to table luncheon will be served as you witness exciting polo throughout six flights of chukkers. And while we are providing a tremendous fieldside luncheon, provided by Thistle Meats, you may also bring your own picnic basket if you so choose.

Eldorado Polo's own Tony Gregg will MC our event so you will not miss a beat and will understand all of the action taking place on the field. Photographers from Drew Altizer & Dan Kaplan Photography will be on hand for spectators and polo players alike.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No. All are welcome.

Should I purchase a Cabana or One-Day Membership Ticket? What's the difference?

While we will have shaded areas throughout the event, a Cabana ticket ensures you have a shaded, dedicated area of your own to enjoy for the day. Each comes with TWO general admission tickets in addition to your private Cabana space. Our Cabanas are rustic Marin-county spaces with blanketed strawbale seating and a VIP goody bag. Each comfortably seats 8 guests. Cabanas sell out quickly each year.

When will Early Bird ticket pricing end?

Our Early Bird ticket pricing will conclude on August 1, 2019.
