Description

Join us for Ceramics on the Wheel workshops with Amanda Cotton at Trinity Art Studio (located at Trinity Buoy Wharf). Workshops are the perfect way to spend time expressing your creativity and socializing with like-minded people. Come as a group or an individual, everyone is welcome.

This beginner’s private lesson is the perfect way to learn a new skill and create your own hand-made ceramic pots. During the lesson you will experience what it’s like to create pots on the potter’s wheel. Kicking off with a demonstration, you will watch Amanda in action. Then it’s your turn; Amanda will tailor the lesson to your needs depending on your experience and capabilities. Explaining each stage, Amanda will help you create two pots and experience different techniques on the wheel. Towards the end, there will be time to explore and practice what you’ve learnt. Your pots will be bisque fired and ready for collection after two weeks. If you wish, you can share the experience by bringing a friend for free. (Time on the wheel will be shared equally and you create one pot each).
