The perfect session to spend time expressing your creativity and socializing with like-minded people. Come as a group or an individual, everyone is welcome. To begin the session, Amanda will share her ceramic knowledge and skills, including a variety of examples. Amanda will inspire you to put these skills into practice as you explore and experiment with clay through group interaction, before creating an object of your choice. If you have always wanted to create a pot, cup, sculpture or are curious to experience what clay feels like, this is the session for you. Your piece will be bisque fired and ready for collection after two weeks. Amanda will tailor the session to your needs. Ceramic techniques will vary each week with a mixture of hand-building, mould-making, throwing on the wheel, casting and surface decoration. Feel free to bring your own drinks / snacks, this is a social after all.

  • Includes: Two hours of ceramic fun with up to five other like-minded people and sculptor Amanda Cotton. Plus, one bisque fired piece and all equipment needed for the session

  • Optional: For an additional £5, you can glaze (colour) your piece by returning to the studio for a second time (pay now or on the day)
