Cera & Mythic Valley

Doors Open: 7:30

Show: 8pm

folk rock, indie rock, salt lake city, folk, americana

Cera's music is often described as having an old school, rock feel with a modern twist. Twist being the key word. But I say you have to hear her to understand just how steller her sound is. Her songwriting takes you on a journey through the perfect match between lyrics, vocals and style that have will you stuned by how unique and proffessional she is.

Mythic Valley: Originating from Salt Lake City, Mythic Valley's music is inspired by the heyday of late 60's/70's folk rock. Their music is equal parts folk, Americana, blues, and indie-rock with sprinklings of psychedelia. Taking nods from music greats like The Eagles, Townes Van Zandt, and James Taylor, Mythic Valley melds their collective musical influences into an emotionally charged neo-folk rhetoric that touches the heart and the spirit of the human condition. Following in the footsteps of some of the more well known folk artists from the Provo Utah scene, Mythic Valley covers subjects ranging from heartbreak and financial insecurity to existentialism and the colloquial question we all ask "Why are we here?". Their hum-able and unforgettable melodies will answer the question of whether music with heavy-handed subjects can be stuck in your head. Yes, yes they can.
