Description
Join us for a second and final webinar on the latest happenings with CentralOK!go, the Central Oklahoma Commuter Corridors Study.
You’ve already given us your feedback on some potential transit alternatives within three specific transit corridors and now it’s time to explain how we used your ideas to do a more detailed evaluation of the possibilities and rated alternatives (alignments and modes of transportation) for each corridor, along with their potential costs and technical feasibility. We would again like you to weigh in with your preferred alternative in each corridor as well as the transit mode you think is best suited to our region.
The Central Oklahoma Commuter Corridors Study considers various routes and modes of public transportation for moving people throughout Central Oklahoma, focusing on three specific corridors as well as downtown Oklahoma City where the three corridors overlap. The north corridor extends 14 miles between Edmond and downtown Oklahoma City, the East extends 10 miles from downtown Oklahoma City through Del City to Midwest City and Tinker Air Force Base, and the South Corridor extends 17 miles from downtown Oklahoma City, through Moore, to Norman and the University of Oklahoma.
