About this event

A TWO-DAY FAMILY FRIENDLY FESTIVAL – with multiple stages featuring a refreshing variety of folk/roots/Americana performances. Are you itching to catch some live roots music in a great outdoor setting? Are you a musician that loves to jam with other musicians? You'll find it all here! AND we now have four ongoing jam tents – bluegrass, old-time, folk-folk-mix, and one for the very beginner. The festival also features kids' activities, 30+ music workshops (all levels of expertise), a new YouthFolk Tent, festival store, opening and closing community sings, and a drum circle each day.

Food trucks on site all day. Our beer garden features Nocterra Brewing beer. PLEASE NOTE: You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto Metro Park grounds.

NEFESH MOUNTAIN – SATURDAY EVENING HEADLINER – We’re excited to bring you this esteemed New York based band fronted by Eric Lindberg & Doni Zasloff and which has been hailed as one of today's formative boundary pushing Progressive Folk/Americana bands. Expect a mixture of Americana, Appalachian bluegrass, old-time, Celtic folk and eastern European music. Nefesh Mountain has recorded and shared the stage with Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton, John Doyle, Noam Pikelny (Punch Brothers), Mark Schatz (Bèla Fleck, Nickel Creek), Mike Gordon (Phish) and Tony Trischka among others. The Troubadours, along with their band, continue to forge new paths in unknown territory, armed with Zasloff and Lindberg's strong, smokey, and folksy vocals and Lindberg’s soulful and masterful skills on guitars and banjo alike. Selling out venues from Atlanta to Chicago to New York City, Nefesh Mountain almost immediately took off in the USA roots music festival scene, with celebrated appearances at Merlefest, IBMA's Wide Open Bluegrass, NPR Mountain Stage and more.

FESTIVAL ENTRY – Our festival has changed to a "free-will donation" event. All festival events will be accessible by anyone entering the grounds and that includes the Saturday evening headliner concert and the workshops. We set up donation tents at the entrance. To make this "new way" successful, we’re encouraging donations. Know that your generous $$ support makes all of this possible!

Donations can be made on-site, at the "Donate to COFF" link above, or on this page. For a donation of $20 or more, you’ll get a fun flexible flyer, a cookie and a sticker (while supplies last)! Whether you donate via Eventbrite – which will reserve you an inside tent seat for Nefesh Mountain – OR you pre-donate via the donate link above, bring your receipt and look for the "I already donated" line for faster entry. PLEASE NOTE: to keep things the most manageable for us, we ask you to donate separately for each inside INSIDE-tent-seat reservation. One benefit? We are absorbing the Eventbrite donation processing fee on your behalf. IF you are visiting this reservation site and find inside seating is no longer available, know that lawn seating WILL always be available.
