Description

Mission: America

Challenges and Opportunities for Catholics Today

Does it makes sense to think of America as mission territory? If mission means bringing the Gospel to people who have not heard it, or, having heard it, no longer follow it, then America can certainly qualify as mission territory. Each of these sessions over the 6 weeks will explore the theoretical and practical pieces of this mission. Those in parish leadership are particularly invited to participate. Attendance is limited to14 participants and each will receive Fr. Frank DeSiano’s book of the same name. (CEMI W:125)

Tuesdays: September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, and 17, 2017 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

All sessions will be held in conference room 1 of the Catholic Pastoral Center.

All sessions will be lead by Paul Thomas, the Associate Director of Evangelization and Catechesis for the Diocese of Beaumont.

Tickets for this course are limited in number to 14. Tickets for this CEMI course are offered at no cost to attendees, but ticket "sales" will end at noon on September 11, 2017, or whenever all 14 tickets are "sold out", whichever comes sooner.
