The Ohio Capital City Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (OCCAEE) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Comprehensive 5-day Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Seminar (training course and certification examination) on May 7-11 at the 4-H Center in Columbus (2201 Fred Taylor Drive, Columbus, OH 43221). Please note there is a separate $400 fee to sit for the exam.

The CEM Seminar is very comprehensive and will provide the trainee a very strong foundation in energy efficiency. CEM certified personnel add significant value to their organizations and their communities as a whole. There is a strong demand for this Seminar and the available spots will be filled quickly. Therefore, we request you and your colleagues to register as soon as possible.


Eligibility to Sit for Exam:

Prior to sitting for the exam you must submit a completed application form (for either CEM or EMIT) to AEE and a separate $400 payment using the link below. In order to obtain the CEM certification you must meet the eligibility requirements.

If you do not meet the eligibility requirements you may submit the Energy Manager In-Training (EMIT) application to AEE and if you successfully pass the exam will be awarded the EMIT certification. After you are a EMIT and meet the CEM requirements you can upgrade your certification to CEM.

Payment:

AEE Members - CEM Training in Columbus - May 7-11, 2018 ($1,995)

Non- AEE Members - CEM Training in Columbus - May 7-11, 2018 ($2,195)

Separate Exam Fee for anyone who completes the course and wishes to take the exam on May 11, 2018 ($400)


Discounted Lodging Available:

We’ve arranged for discounted lodging at the nearby Red Roof Inn Plus+ for the nights of May 6-10 (checkout on the morning of the 11th). When reserving your room, let them know you are staying for the OCCAEE Seminar and use the Block Code: B121 OCCAEE, to obtain the discount. Reservations must be made at least 31 days prior to the seminar (April 5) in order to be eligible for discounted lodging.
